I too think Manny will get a contract, but not publicly as in years past. If Manny gets any offense in, he has a tendency to not be able to do anything on the ground.
overall, I think Joe Lauzon will soon be the champ. Turns out he had 3 injuries going into the Manny fight.
Penn beats Pulver.
Corey Hill will be a beast, but will probably need to move up as he gets more muscular.
Pulver was very classy after the fight, but Penn was very unclassy. I used to not like Pulver because he was a dick, but I changed my mind after the fight. In contrast, all Penn said was "GO on BJPenn.com and see what I have to say."
Most of the fights were pretty decent. Manny should've won the fight, but he got a bad break dislocating his shoulder.
Good fights, but it sucked they had to draw out the show so long.
Since I got the east coast feed, I will refrain from other comments.
But I am looking forward to 7/7/07. Nog is gonna whoop some ass. He is probably the toughest man on the planet. Plus, the whole card is gonna be STACKED!

Well, everyone knows Fedor is a bad ass and is the greatest fighter in recorded history. Yet Nog took everything Fedor threw at him and is still conscious and does not need a nurse to wipe his ass. Sure he lost the fight, but did you see and HEAR those bombs Fedor threw? Sounded like goddamned GUNSHOTS.
Plus, one of the greatest fights I have ever seen is when CroCop kicked the **** out of Nog for an entire round. Then all of a sudden in the second... BAM!!! Armbar submission by Nog. Awesome!
Oh, and did anyone see. KIMBO ****ING SLICE OVER RAY MERCER VIA GUILLOTINE ****ING CHOKE!!!!! I about had a heart attach when I saw that.

I've never been much of a Penn fan. Between that comment, and the fact that he kept the choke on Pulver for an extra few seconds, he showed what he's really like.
All in all it was a great series of fights, I am a die hard UFC fan, and what ever Dana thows out there, i will watch. Any idea why Fedor is not in the UFC yet as they bought out PRIDE?

I'm still waiting for them to give Brandon Vera another fight, but they're toying with him because he has only one fight left on his contract and wanted more money for an extension.
