I've just heard rumors about that. He was injured going into the Sylvia fight or something?

What I heard was that he hurt it either during the Sylvia fight or while training for the next fight that they had lined up (Fedor/Arlovski).
I really would love for him to come to the UFC and shut Dana's ass up.

There's no way he could have gotten hurt during the Sylvia fight!
Training would sound about right. I haven't really heard anything concrete though, but yea I've heard the rumors.
What exactly is the injury?

Yea, that's what I heard somewhere too. But then again, I'm not sure why would they announce the Fedor/AA fight if they knew he broke his hand?
The same reason they announced the Lindland/Belfort fight even though he busted his hand too probably. I thought they more or less said that they were going to happen fairly quick after the fights, no? Maybe they just said it before the medical evals were done.

Laughable that the other day you have the CEO crying about Zuffa making it hard to get a show in Vegas, and then you continue to take swipes at them. You don't expect the MMA Mob to hit back or something? Why make it difficult?

Diaz looked good. Spun out of every sub attempt. Seemed to get going a little earlier than usual too. And that Judo throw was awesome. Neer now has the distinction of being the only person to lose to both Diaz brothers. Maybe it's time to hang it up Josh. lol
Herman / Belcher was real close. I thought Herman won, but I can see how the judges gave it to Belcher.
Guida looked a little off to me last night. Maybe Mac's just a better boxer, but Clay didn't really seem to find his range like he did against Heurta. Too bad Clay couldn't finish Danzig, but man, he had some great slams. Glad to see Guida get the win, and glad to see Mac lose. Not a fan of his at all.
Schaffer / Alexander: Bye Houston. It was fun while it lasted. Houston looked awesome the 1st half of the round, but as soon as Schaffer got it to the ground, you KNEW it wouldn't make it out of the 1st round. Houston did a good job of hanging on, as most of those shots from the top were deflected and didn't do too much damage. And for a couple seconds there, I thought he might just survive, but then he went ahead and tapped with a mere 7 seconds left.
Overall, not a bad card, just not a very good one. 3 decisions, 2 of which were split. Anyway, I should start doing some actual work now.

The card is actually looking okay now. Shields / Daley was looking to be the only decent fight on the card, but Arlovski/Nelson is fairly solid.
Nelson definitely isn't top 10, but he is a name among the hardcores, and is top 20 in the HW, and Arlovski still has a good following. Good move my EliteXC. I might just have to tune in that night.

My original plan was to throw out push kicks, have him think that I’m gonna throw them more, and then to shoot in on him, obviously. But the promoters kind of hinted to me, and they gave me the money to stand and trade with him. They didn’t want me to take him down, let’s just put it that way. It was worth my while to try to stand up and punch with him.
What did you guys think of Jake Shields? I really hope the UFC gets their hands on him. I would like to see him fight some of the top 170 pounders.
I saw an interview after the fight where he said he would be willing to move up to 185 to fight Robbie Lawler. That could be an interesting fight.
I don't know about him yet. That was the 1st time I can recall seeing him and I wasn't all that impressed. His stand up was severely lacking and he seemed to have some real difficulty getting that armbar against an opponent with almost zero ground defense. I think he gets beaten badly by most of the top 10 WWs, except Karo .
