I think everyone is feeling the same way. What a strange twist it has taken. If nothing else, I hope it happens just to hear the interview with Rogan after the fight. . .not to mention all the questions beforehand leading up to it. That will be SPECTACULAR.
I remain very skeptical about all this. Especially about the part where the UFC co-promotes with m-1.
Yea the co-promoting part I just don't see. I don't see Dana doing that at all.
Randy coming back, I can see that happening, especially if they plan on having him fight in Oregon. Still a long shot but more of a possibility than the UFC co-promoting.
If you will not fight Diaz due to a breach of contract by EliteXC then why would you fight Alvarez for the same terms?
Wonder what KJ can come up with as an answer.

Pay your dues and quit being a little bitch. 3) You are paying your management too high of a percentage and here's some advice you should consider, \\"they are completely incompetent\\". 4) Chuck Liddell makes 100s of thousands more than Keith Jardine even though he lost to him. Diaz does not complain that Kimbo makes much more. He understands marketability, why can't you? 5) Divide this and then multiply it several times: KJ = little bitch > KJ = real champion 6) We agree you do need more Vaseline. You are used to it and damn those EliteXC guys for not using it when they bend you over.
Ouch!

Yeah. Bunch of whiners as far as I'm concerned. You've got Noons throwing a tantrum because he's not being paid enough. Got news for you KJ, no one knows who you are. Then, you've got Diaz crying because he only lost due to cuts. So? You freaking lost. Those cuts didn't magically happen. They were due to Noons beating on you. Also, since Diaz barely beat that guy Aina (and I still think he lost), he's hardly one to demand title shots.
I really don't like that this fight is for the championship. Brock DOES NOT DESERVE a title fight.
Totally agree, but what are the options if it isn't for the title? Can't have a 3-rounder, because if Lesnar wins. . .no one would consider Randy the champ anymore. I guess they could strip him of the title, but that looks pretty cheap. Not to mention, why didn't they do that earlier? They're kind of between a rock and a hard place on this one. At least it's over. I'd LOVE to see the contract Randy got. You know. . .to see if he got his "respect".

Well, luckily, UFC 91 is in Vegas now, not Portland, so we will at least get to know what his base salary is. Hopefully it's more than that paltry $250k (plus PPV rev) that he was getting.
I agree that there's not much they could do, but that doesn't mean that I have to like it, lol. At least it's kinda a tournament format, so even if Brock wins, he would most likely still lose to Big Nog (who will certainly beat Mir) and not be the REAL champ.
So far, Bloody Elbow has the best recap on the call that I have seen.
Curious move throwing Lesnar is there. I'm just happy we get to see a few more good matches with Randy.

It makes perfect sense from a business stand point.
With Big Nog and Mir locked into the reality show, this was only the really option and it really works out well for the UFC.
If Randy wins, it just adds to his legacy and makes him a bigger star for the UFC to make money off of. Brock loses, but he doesn't lose face, cause hey it's Randy right?
If Brock wins, the win puts him over in a huge way.
