Rothwell I still think with more training will be great. Arlovski finally looked motivated, both he and Herring have re-dedicated themselves after a lull

Yea, that would be fine with me as well as all MMA fans I think. Fedor-Couture needs to happen. Barnett-Arlovski would be a nice clash of styles.
Affliction doens't have enough depth right to put on a lot of shows. Hopefully they co-promote with EliteXC to put on some cards. Ideally they'd co-promote with the UFC but let's not kid ourselves!

Seeing as how Elite XC banned them as well, I just don't see that happening. It's one thing for Elite to partner with DREAM because they're not a direct competitive threat (Dream is mainly targeting Japan, EliteXC is mainly targeting North America). But Affliction is, so I don't see them doing it.

Affliction wants to put the screws to UFC. This is a better matchup.
It builds the brand by crapping on UFC if Fedor wins, especially if they can get Couture out of his contract in time for a December/January fight which is the culmination of all this.
Who does Barnett fight in the meantime? Sylvia? Overreem?

Arlovski looked great. The fight with Rothwell was a fight of the year candidate. Make sure you check it out!
