Rivers is questionable which means he'll play, though not 100%, and will likely be fairly ineffective if the Pats D-line gives constant pressure because he'll be thinking about it (the knee)...A LOT. Eventually you have to figure somebody is going to knock him around. And then what of the knee?
LT will play, 100% or not, until his legs fall off, though the likelihood of him also being effective is 50/50 in that setting with that D against the run.
Volek won't repeat that one drive performance for a near entire game.
Given those and other factors, what do you say to the Chargers being 14 point underdogs in Foxboro? As much as I'd like to see them win, it's seemingly a stretch.
They'll have to put up at least 30 points to contend.
It's like deciding between being anally raped or having a full labotomy. Since douchebag Pat fans are 3000 miles away (for the most part) I will pick New England. At the end of the day what's another Patriot Super Bowl? Far better than watching the Chargers win their first.
Well, the Chargers weren't supposed to win yesterday.
I vote that everyone goes down to the Little Italy Pub & Grill to watch the game this week. We had a blast yesterday.
Do you mean the Princess Pub on the 1700 block on India street by the original Filipis? I used to live RIGHT behind the El INdigo Grill in the apts. there on the 1500 block of Inida. A British pub in Little Italy next to the Mexican consulate. Nice.

Anal rape it is!
Will you at least have the goddamned common courtesy to give a reach around ?
As a Patriots fan I have to say that I was pretty relieved that the Chargers were coming to Foxboro rather then the Colts. I just like the match-up better. Now with the Chargers injuries I think it is a foregone conclusion. Yes the Chargers are playing great defense right now but Brady is on another planet in terms of his performance right now. I suspect the Chargers will take Moss away, like J'ville did, but I don't think they can compete across the board with the Pats offense. The Chargers offense will be dominated by the Pats as well. Chargers need to score about 28 or 30 to just compete. 42 to win IMHO.

The NeW England Patriots are football zombies. The only way to stop the Pats is by removing their heads, or destroying their brains. Otherwise they will not stop until they achieve victory.
The end result is not in doubt.... MY PATRIOTS will win. And Win BIG. The only mystery is will they cover the spread? Will they run up the score? Will Matt Cassell see any play? I'm relieved because I'll admit I was slightly nervous about facing the Colts, even though I'm confident the Pats would win that game too. What I'm least looking forward to is the NEXT TWO WEEKS of having to listen to the Media Brett Favre love fest that will surely take place all the way up 'til we crush the old mans dreams in the Superbowl.
Pats are the Greatest Team in the History of Sports. Having my true home teams of New England Patriots, and Boston Red Sox being great is all that keeps me going during this horrible, horrible Kings season. Hell, I'm half tempted to become a Celtics fan again... if only I didn't hate bball so badly.
