About This Page: This is a discussion on Football within the LetsGoKings.com forums, at Los Angeles Kings Hockey Fan Forum. Im getting tickets to a chargers game and wanted some feedback on which seats are better.
Nosebleeders on the 50 yard line
Or Low in the Corner of the End
Lower in the corner are better. I had seats in the opposite corner for the playoff game against the Jets(row 7) and they were great. The view section is ok but it's like your watching Madden '95.

thats a tough one man. i wouldnt mind sittin lower youll definatly be able to hear all the action better. but the high seats are good for viewing the whole game....f- it sit lower!!!
If you are getting Raider tickets can you get an extra
The Raiders is the one game I absolutely did not want to attend. I just want to watch the game....not see a bunch of gang bangers threatening other people just like me who are there to watch the game. Probably going to see the Ravens in November.

If you happen to change your mind and go to the game against da Bears, AND you have an extra ticket.....
I prefer the corner as well, although my season ticket were on the 10 or so. Similar idea.

Anyone have a good way to get from OC to Qualcomm via train? Im not sure whether to take the Amtrak to Old Town or the Metrolink to Oceanside and transfer via the Bus.

Heh, I have two buddies with Charger season tickets. One in each section you are talking about. Really it is all about personal preference. I like being close to the action so the corner is for me. My buddy likes having a birds eye view of the field so he sits up top. The NFL is better on TV so that would be choice numero uno. Only drawback is missing the tailgates.
Amtrak to Downtown...then Trolley to Qualcomm...it drops you off in the parking lot!
Plus starting from downtown should get you a spot on the trolley. If you get on at old town or fashion valley the thing is packed. A little bit of a wait after the game to get on the trolley but still easier than driving.

I was considering Amtrak to Old Town for brunch and margaritas and then trolly-how long is the wait generally for the trolley?
PS-Thanks for all the tips its much appreciated. Im sure it will cost a bit more to ride the rails but traffic sucks so bad in SD on sundays and the price to park is 15 bucks anyway.

Based on how quickly you get out of there and back to the station, probably 20-30 minute wait going back to Old Town after the game. This of course varies a ton based on the game results.
