About This Page: This is a discussion on Football within the LetsGoKings.com forums, at Los Angeles Kings Hockey Fan Forum. Actually it is Diamond Bar. It is approximately 7 minutes from my house.
It is where the 57/60 meet off of Grand Ave.

Technically, it is the City of Industry. But us native Walnuts & Diamond Barians remember it as the rolling hills of Walnut.
I grew up in Walnut. My parents still live there. The wife & I have a house in Diamond Bar.
Cracks me up the Rams are mentioned....but is there a link to them moving?
I made this prediction a couple of years ago....will be funny to see it in print.
Personally, the league should give us a brand new franchise. Their paying billions into the stadium-gives us a fresh start with a team with no baggage.
I'm with Hipcheck as far as getting a brand new team. Having grown up in the Chicago area, it would be really hard for me to root for the Vikings if they came here. Just give us a brand new team. No existing team please.

When has a new franchise ever been started in Los Angeles by any of the three major sports and both the Ducks and Angels do not count considering they play in Anaheim (Not in Los Angeles County) even though the Angels started as the Los Angeles Angels and shared Dodger Stadium the first couple of years until their Anaheim home could be built and became the California Angels? The only team was the Kings in 1967.
Lakers were imported from Detroit (the Gems of the NBL; '46-'47) and passing through Minneapolis (became the Lakers of the BAA; '47-'60).
Clippers were imported from Buffalo (the Braves of the NBA; '70-'78) and passing through San Diego (became the Clippers of the NBA; '78-'84).
Dodgers were imported from Brooklyn (as early as the 1850's but probably officially 1883-1957).
Rams were imported from Cleveland (of the AFL; '36-37 then the NFL; '37-'45)
Raiders were imported from purgatory.
Youre making my point for me. When it comes to the NFL which is really the cream of the crop when it comes to pro-sports; doesnt the LA Area deserve their own team as opposed to some transplant?
