Clearly the best game this week is San Diego and New England.
Pats waxed the Jets and many thought it would be a close game, meanwhile the Chargers struggled a bit with Chicago.
Should be a good test for the Pats defense that is without Richard Seymour and Rodney Harrison. Clearly the Jets wern't equipped to test the NE defense. The Chargers are.
Meanwhile the Chargers D played well but stopping the Bears attack isn't so difficult. They'll get a true test, especially their secondary against the Patriots revamped attack. Should be a good one!

Betting on road favorites is an easy way to lose your bankroll.
Over the course of the season, definitely.
But while the betting public is using last season and week 1 to handicap their bets, there are some great betting opportunities to be had early in the season.
In St Louis? I don't see the Rams losing 2 games at home to start the season. Jackson and Bulger are going to bounce back big. That one could be over at halftime.

Well losing Pace(out for the year) hurts a ton. But I agree, St. Louis is pretty tough at home and there's still a lot of talent on that team.
I think the Niners have a pretty good shot, but it's a game I'm staying away from.

Good points but I'm still a bit wary. Especially with teams making their home opener, most teams are pretty hyped for the season, crowd is good, etc.
I'll probably make those 2 bets I keep talking about and that's it for NFL. Like I said, I don't like betting too many road teams to win.
Good thing I have Sunday Ticket, Boise is grouped as a secondary Seasucks market, so we get them taking on the Tardinals. Even worse has to be Chris Rose calling the game.
Yea, I have quite a bit of chalk layed on the College games though so we'll see how those go. Interested to see what you and Lath are doing for this weekend.
