I didn't expect this announcement to come out this early but given what Jamarcus was given, this was right on in terms of the contract. St. Louis, you're up.

I think McFadden will fall to Oakland.

Hopefully Sedrick Ellis can somehow fall to Carolina. If not, all this talk about moving up to take Matt Ryan is pretty exciting but I personally don't see it happening unless we move in front of Baltimore, which might be a bit high.

I think Brohm is would be a good pick in the second round if he is still available. Definately the offensive line is something that needs to be addressed.

Jarred Allen to the Vikes for three picks.............as a Vikes fan I love this deal. They essentially gave up two 3rd rounders for one of the top DE in the game today (they would have taken a DE in the 1st round anyway). And at only 26 he should still have a few more years at a high level.

Putting Allen on the DL with the Williams bro's is huge. This is a big step in the right direction.....now hopefully T-Jax doesn't kill them..............just hand the ball to Peterson.......

It is certainly a bold move. This is a good trade for both sides, Allen said he would never sign long term with KC if they franchised him, which they did. The Chiefs aren't going anywhere anytime soon, so they have to turn those extra picks into 2-3 starters. Apparently the Vikings added a 2nd rounder pick too.

The Vikes have the best dline in the league now. Unfortunately it won't do the any good until they get a new QB.

T-Jax is a mobile QB with a strong arm. He has less than 20 NFL starts and has gotten better (Williamson killed him last year with a ton of drops that would have been long TD's in multiple games). His decision making is still questionable at times but he has shown glimpses of making plays. This should get better with more game time.

All he needs to do is keep the defense honest by hitting Berrian or Rice with some passes while they have one on one coverage since there will be 9 in the box to stop Peterson. If he doesn't make the big mistake (turnovers) and manages the game that will be sufficient to win with this team. He should be called on to make a couple plays a game and that's about it. With one on one coverage on the outside it should limit his mistakes if the WR's can make some plays (and they will).

With the Vikes running game once they get a lead they will be tough to beat (especially with the new found pass rush in Allen putting the pressure on). I am not saying Super Bowl Bound (maybe hoping ha ha) but they will be tough to beat and be in every game.......they seem alot like the Giants of last year to me with a better running game. Unproven QB (Eli wasn't proven at the time), great front 7, good LB's.........

Umm...Carolina trading 3 draft picks for Otah?

Brohm didn't get picked up until late in the second round and Henne right after him.

Not one receiver was drafted in the first round.

Well Raider fans, rejoice with McFadden now the future of your team.

I had no idea Delaware and Michigan had basically the same helmet design.
