Last night I got the opportunity to not only attend the Chargers training camp but hang out in the V.I.P. area right next to the field at Chargers headquarters. First

Last night I got the opportunity to not only attend the Chargers training camp but hang out in the V.I.P. area right next to the field at Chargers headquarters.

First of all, they worked the guys hard. Lots of rushing drills and we even got to see a mini scrimmage. One player who really stood out to me giving 100% every time even in the mini practices was Luis Castillo. That guy has heart!

The NFL network was there filming the whole session so I'm sure it will be replayed over and over again.

What was really cool was who was hanging around the sidelines with me. Standing right by me for most of the session was Keyshawn Johnson. What cracks me up is that I could hear some of the coaching staff whispering that Keyshawn just needed to get out on the field and practice with the Chargers. One could only hope right? Also floating around was Marshall Faulk & Randall Godfrey.

I got to meet LT's wife and she is just as beautiful and nice as one would expect LT's wife to be. Very classy lady.

So anyway, I took some pictures (which didn't turn out too hot because I suck at using a camera) but wanted to share a few anyway.

I went to a Chargers training camp back when I was a little kid. It was a lot of fun. I was too young to really care who the players were, but I still have my autograph book.

Last week I was in Chicago and was able to go to the Bears evening training camp session on Tuesday. I had a great time. I couldn't believe how many fans were there. I estimated about 1k to 1,500 people, just to watch a practice.

Was on vacation last week....was listening to 1090 on Wednesday and they were talking about Chargers' practice, and then I think "Oh hey, I'll go check out practice tomorrow." I found out later that night that Wednesday's was the last public session. D'oh.
