As a Dolphins fan I must admit I am upset by this, I would have rather they either lost every game thus becoming the only franchise to winn every game and lose every game in a season...or have 1 win during the season and have it be against the Pats, thus spoiling thier perfect season.
Congrats to Rebar, Blueline and Corky (not board related) on the win... may you get the first pick still and pick... ???

They need to forget about the QB and start putting together a freaking offensive line. THEN the offense will start to come around, no matter who's back there.
Besides, they already passed on Brady Quinn to get Beck. You've gotta figure they've got their QB already.

before last pre-season, having never even previously heard of him.
Gotta say the 'fins are the one team in the NFL that I absolutely hate. The attitude of their undefeated team and the way they always take the pleasure at other unbeaten teams losses always ticked me off. Don't get me wrong. Both Shula and Marino were class acts that I rooted for at the end of their careers but I loved seeing the 'fins suck this year.
And as long as I root for the Pat's I would love to see the 'fins suck for longer. Congrats to them getting their first win but a bad tackling angle and an unwillingness to have some guts and go for a win at the end of regulation by Billick were the only reasons the 'fins pulled it out yesterday ...

No way you trade the 1st pick... Glen Dorsey is the easy pick. See how good Mario Williams looks in Houston these days? Glen Dorsey is the much needed spark for that terrible defense. McFadden may be the best player coming out, but Fins already have Ronnie Brown... Dorsey is a lock in this spot.
Ravens should have gone for it on the half yard line with 1 second remaining on the clock... there is no way in hell that Willis McGahee doesn't punch it in up the middle. None. Billick is pathetic and if there was any argument for keeping him it was negated in this game.

It doesn't make much sense for Miami to trade out of the top spot next year. The only teams with multiple 1st round draft picks are Dallas and New England who will have late, late picks (New England won't even get a draft pick if they win it all). The Dolphins need to start gathering talent now so getting 1st rounders in 09 wouldn't be very smart either.
Ronnie Brown was the best back in football this year until he got hurt so they won't take McFadden. Dorsey or Long should be the pick. Either way Miami will get some help in the trenches.
I hope they beat the Pats. Belicheat and Shady Brady need to lose.
