Tebow's first big game as the Gators starting QB. Luckily for him the game's in the swamp. These games are usually really good so this is the one I'm looking forward to the most. The biggest storyline for me is Tebow. He's finally playing a good team as the man. It'll be interesting to see how he does. Tennessee doesn't have a great defense but it's much better than what Tebow has seen.
Ohio State Vs. Washington
First big test for Washington too. They've looked good thus far but now they get a big boy(Boise is NOT a powerhouse). That Locker has looked pretty awesome, kind of like the poor man's Tebow.
Notre Dame Vs. Michigan
Someone's O has gotta go. 2 true freshman going at it since Henne is out with an undisclosed injury. Or he could be out because he sucks. How about all those Michigan guys who came back for their Senior Year and now their title hopes are just dashed.
Arkansas Vs. Alabama
Big game for Saban. Bama's D has looked great but against 2 cupcakes. Now they face two of the best RBs in the nation.
USC Vs Nebraska
Nebraska has looked shaky, USC didn't look like the #1 team in the nation against Idaho but they've had 2 weeks to prepare for this one. Sam Keller hasn't had the greatest success against SC in the past either.

(Note: Dodgers, Braves and Cardinals fans everywhere are nodding and saying, "Yup ... been there, done that.")
I have no idea how good Oklahoma State is. But they've gotta be at least 10 points better than Troy no?
Arkansas (+3) Vs Alabama
I just like Arkansas running backs too much. I know Alabama is a tough place to play but I think McFadden is too good.
Florida State(-4) Vs. Colorado
Even though this game is in Boulder, nothing CU did impressed me. Florida State hasn't looked great either but they have good WRs and Colorado's secondary looked shaky. Hawkins is an awful QB and I think Florida State's defense will shut them down.

Alright, what are my fellow degenerates thinking?
All I know is since I will be going to FF in CFL Week 3 I will be looking for the ASU callouts! Good info here.

On the contrary, I love Troy in this one...
Troy is a great home team, they are 16 - 3 in their last 19 at home. They are also 6 - 2 against the spread in their last 8 games (including last 6 from last season) Not to mention OSU is not a good road team (3 - 9 straight up last 12 on the road).
Troy finished last season off 3 games on the road and started this season off with two very tough road games (and scoring 26 on Arkansas and 31 on Florida is respectable), they are gonna be happy to be home and I actually like the upset here straight up at +350.
Of course don't let me talk you out of it, I always do all my homework and it'll end up being OSU 35 - Troy 10 anyways, haha. But just figured I'd fight the other side.
Agree with you on the other two. Not sure I trust FSU's offense yet, especially on the road... but at only 4 points why not? As you say, Colorado is pretty bad.
Arkansas Alabama is always a good game. Even though Bama is tough to play against and has a pretty good run defense, no one can stop McFadden. And as if he isn't scary enough alone, Felix Jones is a beast too.
Here are the rest of my terribly unpopular-in-these-parts picks;
USC is going to win that game at Nebraska, the only question is by how much. I'm doing a 6 pt teaser on that game and the ASU-SDSU game. So I get it at USC -4 and SDSU +34. I think ASU wins big but not by 5 touchdowns.
I like the OSU bet against Troy (and so do most people with 93% of people taking OSU and laying the points).
Tenn at Florida -8. Don't really feel that 8 points is much for the Gators to give up especially at the Swamp. I might include this in my other bet and tease it down to -2 just to be sure.
BYU -7 at Tulsa. BYU is one of the best MWC teams and Tulsa sucks. The Cougs have already knocked off one Pac-10 team and only lost by 10 at UCLA (and it was close until the final minutes).

Miami plays at the Orange Bowl. Florida plays at the Swamp.
Ahh, thanks for the correction. I was picturing all the orange colors at the Swamp and wrote down the wrong stadium. Miami is leaving the Orange Bowl next year too. Lame, I like college stadiums (even if out of date) better than NFL stadiums.

Love that tease, if Carpenter plays like he does last week, you'll be just fine.
93% are betting on OSU? Oh man, if Troy pulls it off I will certainly be in the winning minority.
I added BYU to my list of bets. Hopefully your pick is right 2 weeks in a row Lath!
I'm kicking myself for not betting Air Force last night. I had the wager placed and only had to check the box and hit submit... but couldn't do it. TCU is all defense and AFA is always strong early in the season. Not only did the Falcons cover but they won outright. Should have gone on instincts.
