Speaking of Walsh, a book recommendation that heavily involves how he revolutionized football.
Came out in hardcover last year, and comes out in paperback next month. A great read.

Wow.
He'll be missed, but his contributions to the game will be the foundation of the sport for decades to come.

Absolutely agreed, he was taught under Paul Brown and really helped develop the modern game as we no it today.
Some interesting stuff....Coaches who coached under Brown
* Don Shula (player for Paul Brown)
* Chuck Noll (player)
* Ara Parseghian (player)
* Abe Gibron (player)
* Weeb Ewbank (coach under Paul Brown)
* Sid Gillman (coach)
* Bill Walsh (coach)
* Blanton Collier (coach)
Coaching tree for Bill Walsh
