The word on the street is from the Dirty, a wannabe TMZ, Kobe Bryant is/was having an affair with former Laker cheerleader Vanessa Curry. Very odd situation, being that none of the photographs rumored have yet to be posted (or ever will), and the link to Vanessa's profile on the Laker Girl section of the Lakers' website has been removed. As of the playoffs, she has resigned as a Laker girl. Laker Girl Link
I was listening to AM 570 and the word is the Dirty received a cease and desist order from the Lakers' lawyers (not Kobe's) so that must mean something is going on, being that they refuse to take the link down.
So if this link that i posted is shut down by thsi morning, go ahead and look up "Kobe bryant" and "Vanessa Curry" in the same sentence.
If you ask me, this is a load of crap. Just another website trying to make a name for themselves. Or maybe the webmaster is a Spurs/Celtics fan. If this comes to light that this is a really bad rumor, someone is going to get their ass sued out the country. And if this comes our true, then well Kobe, you had yor chances. What a distraction.
I have believed this since 2003.....Kobe's wife is putting in her time. In California marriages the law considers a man of Kobe's earning power as an enterprise. Meaning that Kobe's wife, as long as she puts in 10 years of marriage, will be entitled to half of what Kobe makes........FOR THE REST OF HIS LIFE.
Kobe is shooting himself in the foot. He should have terminated the marriage when he had a chance but if he's out there doing this again even if he calls an attorney today he's going to take it in the ass.
If only Kobe and other idiot, like minded kids in their early 20's who think they know everything even though they don't know ****, listened to their parents this never would have happened.

I think for the rest of his life is a little much. Your right about the 10 status. That gets her I believe 3 years of spousal support, plus child support. But, yes, 10 years does get half of the money that he has made suring the marriage. It doesn't entittle her to future earnings.
Some media reports have said, incorrectly, that the 10-year mark determines when California couples have to split assets equally. As I explained above, that's not the case. Assets acquired from the first day of marriage are considered community property in California, unless there's a prenup.
However, there is a presumption, divorce attorneys say, that a union that's lasted at least 10 years is a "lengthy marriage," which in California can affect spousal support. A judge may approve a longer period of alimony for a lengthy marriage and may reserve the right to change the amount of alimony for several years after the divorce. Again, that's probably not an issue when the couple has a strong prenup.
But it may be those prenups themselves that precipitate the rush to the courthouse just shy of the 10-year mark. Many prenuptial agreements include clauses that substantially increase the property settlement for unions that last at least 10 years.
