It's just not proper. Sadly, Asians are pretty much the only race that you can make fun of by making a gesture on your face or body.
Not really, the Asians push the outside of their eyes together thus giving the appearance of round eyes when doing impressions of non-asians. Ive seen it.

I still don't understand what's so offensive about this... they didn't make any statements implying that they were superior or that the chinese were inferior... they simply made a juvenile attempt to mimic a clearly distinguishable physiological distinction between themselves and the citizens of the host country of the current Olympic Games.
