I think I heard this on GOLTV news, but I'm not sure. I have no idea where he'd go either, but he would look nice in a MAN UTD uniform.
He would look good but to be honest, the last thing United need is another center mid. I mean Hargreaves didn't get as much playing time as I thought he would and saw more time at RB and even as a winger than he did in the engine room. He and Gattuso are similar players, with Hargreaves probably being more skilled. Gattuso would be a luxury Man United don't really need.

Flamini of course. Don't know about anybody else though.

but weren't willing to pony up that much cash for a 21 year old CB.
I was going to say, "but they will for Pique?" I haven't seen a figure thrown out there for Pique yet but I'd imagine it would be more than what Garay cost.
I wish other sports transfer markets were 10% as interesting.

The number I've seen is 6 million pounds. So that's 12 million Euros right?
I'm pretty pissed about losing Pique. He is a solid young defender, very similar to Rio. He was essentially our 3rd CB was I was very comfortable when he had to play. But I think the guy wanted to play first team football and wanted to go back to Spain. I'm really hoping there's a late breakdown in negotiations but it seems he is on his way to Barca.
Its 7 500 000 Euros, the Euro is catching everyone. Todays big rumour here is that Lampard might be heading to Inter. Brits have tended to be a bust when moving to Italy.

I saw that too, other rumors are that Roberto Mancini might go to Chelsea regardless of whether Grant wins or not.
That would leave Mourinho free to go to Inter. And I'm sure he would love to have Lampard with him.

Pique is an exception as he is a Barca oldboy. He was poached by Man Utd much like Fabregas and Fran Merida were poached by Arsenal.
Pep Guardilola is definitely going to instill a more Catalan feel to the team. I think he's going to do really well... also there are grumblings that Luis Enrique will be his assistant, YOU CAN'T **** WITH THAT!!!
