So Galiardi says Ancelotti is staying. I guess Ancelotti is hoping Ronaldhino does not take to the Milan nightlife.
Well at half time Roma were winning the title, Catania were relegated and Milan were missing the champions league.
At full time Inter won the league, Catania stayed up and Milan made the champions league spot on goal difference. A great finish to the season.
Agreed. I was pulling for Roma though, oh well... In La Liga news the Real Mallorca v Real Zaragoza game has lots of implications as well. Hopefully Zaragoza pulls through so they don't get relegated. Crazy to think they're battling for thier lives with a roster line-up that includes: Roberto Ayala, Pablo Aimar, Diego Milito, Sergio Garcia, Carlos Diogo and Ricardo Oliviera. If Mallorca wins they get a UEFA cup spot.

Yeah I missed that late Fiorentina goal. I guess that makes Milan automatic favourites to win the Uefa cup next year.
Well maybe not. Big clubs don't really seem to care about the UEFA cup. Milan will probably focus on winning Seria A and when those midweek European games come I bet they won't field their strongest side.
There's no real prestige in winning the UEFA Cup unless you a mid-table club.

It is a shame we won't be seeing Milan in the Champions League next season though. They are a class side with a ton of world class players(with more coming it seems!). I should probably be happy because Milan own us in Europe but it is fun being able to see them midweek.
I tend to be on the opposite side of that argument ASU cruz, I am glad that every now and then you get a Champions league minnow in the tournament. As for Ancelotti I am lets say pleasantly supprised they have not fired him, big European teams have a tendency to hit the button after one poor season.
I'm all about new blood in the Champions league ASU, as much as Milan have history, it gets boring seeing them in the semi-finals every other year. I'd also like to note that they will not be making as much television revenue next year and they might not have the cash to go splurging like they usually do every summer. Milan is even bitching that 25 million is too much for Ronaldinho, what a bunch of babies.
