Yankees fan charged with running down Red Sox fan with car
War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling that thinks that nothing is worth fighting for is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself. - John Stuart Mill
When life gives you lemons, don't make lemonade and open up a stand.
They'll only cite you for selling without a permit.
Words, no matter how loud, are harmless when compared to action, especially a moving car.
Sports are great, and ribbing each other (even if you're strangers) makes rivalries all the more frenzied. But seriously.....arguing, and then getting into your car, and then turning on the ignition and moving at a crowd of people, and....still moving in that direction and not stopping, and then hitting two of them. Are you kidding me?
Doesn't surprise me in the least. Stupid drunk sports fans will do stupid things. That is why we staff the Angel and Ducks games with more officers when the Yanks, Red Sox, A's , Dodgers, Kings and Detroit come to town. I can't tell you how many reports I have written because of drunken fans like her.
