Don't feel bad Angel fans (all 2 of you) because the Angels are still
number 1 with rats and MMA posers wearing TAPOUT shirts.

Wow you are really reaching here aren't you? Angels rank 7th in the league in average home attendance. Who really cares how popular they are across the country or in some stupid online poll? Personally, I prefer that to having thousands of bandwagon "fans" like the Red Sox.

Don't kill yourself now SystemOfACrown when the Angels win the World Series in 2008.
You clearly learned nothing from the All Star Game thread (or the "Padres Will Win the West" thread). You just guaranteed that the Angels will not win the World Series, Nostradamus.
Also, to be fair to System, he was basically just quoting an article followed by a snippet of commentary.
Even though that snippet from the article made me chuckle, I can still see that the Angels have a hard-core following and they fill the seats every night.
The Angels may be 7th in attendance but those fans admit
they are not real fans. There are about 4 hardcore Angel fans.
Do not give them too much credit.
If the Angels win the World Series and no one cares does it
matter? It's like the tree falling in the forest deal...who gives
a ****. As long as the Red Sox play in the AL, Anaheim is not
winning the Series. Let's not forget about that anemic offense...
anyway, no one cares.
Thanks T Brown for clearing things up for some of these
brain surgeons.
I am not a huge baseball fan but at least the Angels will sniff the playoffs. The Dodgers on the other hand, under 500 in the worst division in baseball! Garvey, Lopes, Russell and Cey better start hitting for this team to make it above 500. Is Tommy John still pitching?
I just wish the Red Sox and Yankees could play 162 games against each other. Then they could play for the World Series too. I only see them on ESPN so those must be the best two teams ever and currently and in the future.

Angels bats aren't much better...but umm...no one cares. People are
more concerned with the Dodger team that isn't even at .500.

Those fans admit they are not hardcore fans? Are you serious? I thought you were here to state the facts. I'd love to see where you got that info from. And that anemic offense has been good enough to give them the best record in the league at the break. In case you've never watched baseball, pitching and defense win in this league. Notice how the Yankees haven't sinffed the series in so many years?
Why don't you stop by sometime soon and I'll help you celebrate the 20 year anniversary of a Dodger world series. I will give you this though, Dodger fans truly are hardcore to be showing up to watch the crap baseball played in the NL West and Andruw strike out 5x a night.
The Angels have been a really good team the last 8 years or so.
But let's not get crazy and start comparing what these teams have done over the last 50 or 48 (in the Angels' case).
Recent success does not disqualify which team has achieved more in their history. The Dodgers' greater fanbase is a credit to their past greatness and past successes. Look at the Yankees for Christ sake. So, in a popularity contest - it's pretty fair to say The Dodgers have the advantage. But both teams have a good fanbase, both teams have hardcore fans and both teams have bandwagon/marginal fans. Trying to disuade anyone from one opinion to the other is hopeless...and irrelevant, for that matter.
Better an Angels fan than a Giants fan, I say.

Didn't see anyone doing that. I only said 20!
I have nothing against the Dodgers, I just have something against people who have to post stupid crap like this to make themselves feel better in some way.
