i hope krod can afford to feed his family, i mean that 2.5 million more he could have gotten that hes bitching about would have really made the difference. My thoughts and prayers are with krod in this difficult time of making 10 mil. to play ball. Hope hes ok!
it's an operation of baseball arbitration. each side gives its number and makes its case, and the arbitrator picks one or the other, and is not allowed to pick another number. the player can't ask for too much, or they're likely to lose. so it compels both sides to be reasonable.

I actually agree with ASU and think he should have gotten more. But i also think that Rodriguez's 10 million "loss" was actually less than he should have gotten also.
