Nice sweep of the sorry ass Padres. Now its time to do the same to Los Dbags starting Friday.

Juan Pierre is so bad at baseball that even Angel Berroa clowns on him.

You know you're at the bottom of the food chain when Angel Berroa clowns on you.

Berroa is our David Eckstein. I like it!

Rafael Furcal was paid a visit in Arizona by trainer Stan Conte, who oversaw the shortstop run the bases for the first time. Furcal will return to Southern California over the weekend to be seen by his back surgeon.
I still have a 5% hope that he will play some role in September.

Big series coming up vs. the D-Backs. This could make or break our season.

I missed the back-to-back jacks.

I was in line behind four people to get Mom (who can't walk without two canes or a walker) a Dodger Dog.

It took THIRTY ****ING MINUTES for these FOUR people to get their food. Why? Because EVERY ****ING ONE of them had friends in other lines playing the "Whoever gets to the front first" game. The second one of them stepped up to the register, four others would cut out of other lines and join the person in front of me AND PLACE SEPERATE ORDERS.

Of course, when I took exception to this the second time it occurred, their responses included, "**** you, white boy" and "shut the **** up or I'ma knife you."

That's no exaggeration.

I hate going to Dodger Stadium. The last four times I've gone, I've had problems or seen people acting so despicably that it makes me cringe. Every time I gear up to go again, I hope that those were isolated incidents, yet when I get to the ballpark, I'm sorely disappointed. Having been to seven other ballparks, I can say with certainty that the negative experiences I've had over the last two seasons at Dodger Stadium are very unique. Security has no teeth because they're trying to be politically correct. Repeat offenders are let back into the ballpark the following night. There aren't enough ushers or security personell, and the security personell that ARE there spend most of their time out in the colonnade instead of watching over the fans in the stands. So until the McCourts start cracking down on parking-lot drinking and stop selling beer in the Reserved sections, I will buy no more tickets. I will pay no more parking. I will buy no more concessions.

**** that place. It's no longer fun and it's no longer family-friendly.

I wish I could take my girlfriend on late night walks down any park in the world. Or I could park my car anywhere without wondering who might pass by. Unfortunately, that's not the world we live in. Some places are considered safe - others are not. Now, you can say "well, it's McCourt's job to make this place safe for me" but it's all in the people that attend. And unless someone changes something, it's not going to be any different.

You bring up that you've been to other stadiums and it's not like Dodger Stadium. What do you mean? There's not as many homies? Or you haven't experienced any problems with the people there? Because I can tell you that I've NEVER experienced any threats, been in any fights or have ever personally had a problem with someone's behavior or other actions at the Stadium and I've been to countless amount of games. There's been the occasional drunk a few seats over or the guy who cuts in front but that's never been a big problem for me. But then again, I don't take my family to the games and I blame the slow AARP women at the concession stands just as much as I do the fellas who cut in line with their homies for the long wait time. I also sit in field level or low loge seats only so I don't have the same experience as someone in the reserves or cheapseaters. With that said, I've been to a few other ballparks and HAVE received questionable treatment (not all times was I wearing my Dodger gear). So, in that regard, I've received better treatment at Dodger Stadium than other ballparks. So, it's not the same for everyone. Also, to compare a place you go to frequently to a place you've visted a few times in your life or less isn't a fair comparison given how often you visit one place and how often you visit the other.

So, unless you plan to spark the change yourself by some sort of measure to weed out (or at least control) every single badseed in the Stadium, I'd suggest:
a) Sitting in a better location (lower levels)
b) Become an Angels fan (I doubt they have the homie problem but you may run into trouble if your truck is raised higher than someone else's. Beware of shirtless guys with askew baseball caps and white sunglasses.)
c) Don't attend games at Dodger Stadium

With that said, I feel your frustration and I wish I could sit in any location at Dodgers Stadium without wondering if it'll even be worth it knowing what kind of crowd frequents some of the locations. But the same can be said about living in Southern California. It should be safe... but it's not. And it's a ****ty place to raise a family. But that's life, I guess. I doubt the Blue Jays have this kind of problem.

To be honest, every time I bought your seats off of you, I've had a great experience. I think it's a shame that these incidents have changed your opinion of the park, but you are in no way out of line. Dodgers Stadium should do something about this.

Well, name your game and you can have just about anything you want, seats-wise for the remainder of the year.

I'm glad your experience has been good, but I'm done. And its not like I go looking for trouble, either. I mind my own business for the most part.

Where were you seated, and has it been the same section/location each time you've gone?

We were seated in our season seats in the same section we've been in for the last six seasons. I have seen a definite decline in the self control of th
