Broxton pitched fine today. Focus on the bad if you want too, I'll focus on what he did right. 5 out saves are tough, even elite closers have a hard time with it.

(Note: Dodgers, Braves and Cardinals fans everywhere are nodding and saying, "Yup ... been there, done that.")
Saito's simulated game went really well. He'll throw another one either Tues. or Wed. and probably be activated Friday. And Rafael Furcal did the most he has done, taking ground balls and running. Said he felt great afterward, but also cautioned that it's goig to be more about how he feels tomorrow.

I'm sorry. I'm just jilted from years of watching the Dodgers and Kings.

It's so ridiculous how not-close it even is.
Thank you so much for pointing this out, Key. I've been arguing with my brother the entire year. For whatever reason, he has this infatuation with Pierre that I can't figure out. For the sake of visualization, I put it into Excel with a Difference Row as well and emailed it off to him. LOL

Yea, the bright side is we didn't sign him to a 5-6 year deal. Other than the Pierre deal, Ned has done a decent job at keeping contract lengths short.
IF the Dodgers can stay where they are AND the Cubs and Brewers stay where they are, wouldn't the Cubs & Dodgers meet in the first series?
