About This Page: This is a discussion on Baseball within the LetsGoKings.com forums, at Los Angeles Kings Hockey Fan Forum. Man, Kent is pretty good at stuff hit right at him but his range is pretty much zero at this point.
I don't sit and go through page after page. This is a Kings message board, not a Dodgers message board... and to have to wade through an entire thread dedicated to the Dodgers is... cumbersome at best. So, not sure what my response is to their posts. What should it be?
If you are going to make outrageous claims like Pierre walks you better be prepared to back that statement up when someone challenges you on it. Otherwise you just look like an idiot.

The point I was trying to make and still trying to make is that he finds a way to get on base. A bunt single, a slap the other way, or a walk here and there... and with his speed he is able to be plated often.
What else can I say? It'd be nice to have someone on the team that could step in and remove any decision making. There isn't, however. If you're Torre, what do you do? Allow Jones and his sub-Mendoza average to come up and hack at pitches aimlessly just because he is a gold glove outfielder - knowing you have a speedy, hard working guy like Pierre hitting over 100 points better to place somewhere in the lineup...
What the **** did Ned see in this guy when he brought him over from the A's?
Yea who knows...
We were pretty desperate for starting pitcher last year(David Wells!) so I guess that was the thinking behind the waiver wire claim of Loaiza. But yea, it's not fun paying him 7 million dollars to blow.
