I don't think anyone is wrong him. It seems like all closers take the foot off the pedal in non save situations. I'm not really worried about him.

Lowe, P
I really hate to say this but I'm glad Pierre is in instead of "old yeller" Jones and didn't Lowe get the memo, that we are on a winning streak, Rox up 2-0 in the first with two still on base
Haven't heard anything but being taken out in the second inning can't be good!
Sounds like it's turf toe
Quote:
Andy LaRoche was benched for Class AAA Las Vegas for a second straight day after being optioned. Trainer Stan Conte said LaRoche was healthy enough to play and the decision to rest him was Las Vegas manager Lorenzo Bundy's.
"He wanted to go in," Conte said of LaRoche, who has recovered from thumb surgery and has been battling turf toe.
Barring an injury to another player, LaRoche isn't eligible to return to the majors for 10 days after his demotion. And Torre was noncommittal about whether or not a roster spot would presently exist for the rookie anyway, considering the play of Blake DeWitt.
I still refuse to hop on the anti-Pierre bandwagon. Sure his fielding isn't his strong point, but the dude gets on base. Unlike Andruw Jones...... freakin' waste of money.
