According to the radio, the Dodgers traded 4 minor league players for
Manny Ramirez in a three team deal.
Boston's paying the remainder of Manny's salary this season. Interesting. I figured the only way McCourt would Ok it is if it were "free". LaRoche for a rental. hmmm

You're probably right, although the reported hang-up in the Maddux rumors wasn't money.

Plenty of "bad guys" have rings. Manny's got 2 of them. Sheffield has a ring, etc.
Of course Manny isn't a great clubhouse guy but I think that is less of a deal in baseball than it is in other sports.
Again, I'm the biggest LaRoche fan around and I'm fine with this deal.
