This is a strange season.... feels like the Dodgers have been horrible, but like others have pointed out they're still right in it.
I've been to 7 or 8 games and have only seen the Dodgers win once, and that was at Angel Stadium.
Then they win a game without a hit...
Bananas, I say.
Where the hell is Furcal?

Lots of talk going on about whether the approach Torre is advising the players to take into each at bat is the problem. The complaint is that the young hitters are not as comfortable working deep into counts and being down 0-2 or 1-2 as they are just going with their instincts no matter what the count.
Serves for an interesting topic of debate since it seems this team has gotten worse since last year, injuries and all.

I have noticed one thing in the last two games that I hadn't seen much of all season long...shortening the swing with a two-strike count. Choking up on the bat. I'd been wondering where that technique had gone...

Angel Berroa and Luis Maza are the Dodgers SS for the "forseeable future." Oy.

Unless they can get Nomar playing there (and keep him healthy). That's a better thought, IMO.

He also shouldn't have pulled Kershaw in the 6th

Damn, LaRoche just keeps proving how wrong I was to say he wasn't playing well.
0-3 tonight with a K, GDP, and BB. All 3 outs with RISP. So, for the year he is now 0-9 with RISP and 0-14 with runners on base.
WTF was I thinking? This guy is carrying the team offensively.
