Sweeney got put on the DL. Furcal got moved to the 60 day DL. And Repko got optioned back to Vegas. Lets hope Sweeney goes straight from the DL to getting released.
Sweeney's had a good career. Too bad he couldn't do **** this year. I think his best at bat this year was a walk against Milwaukee in the bottom of the 9th!

A dropped fly and Nomar gets on. Walk behind him puts him on 2nd. Aggressive baserunning gets him home on Young's single. Way to make an error pay, boys!
Then Andre MF'in Ethier comes up and smacks a double to score two, putting the Dodgers up 6-5. That kid is en-fuego!!
Really. All things being equal, do you keep Kemp or Ethier if you've got to trade one? Don't get me wrong, I don't want either of them to go, but Ethier just seems to have a much MUCH better head on his shoulders at the plate and around the bases. Kemp might have more upside, power-wise, but I keep Ethier for his brains and moderate power.
Martin knocks in Ethier. 7-5 Dodgers!

I'm with you though. I'm not sure which one you keep at this point. Ethier is on fire and I feel he's got a good head on his shoulders. Kemp seems a little entitled at times and very impatient. On the flip side; as soon as they get rid of Kemp, he'll be a Dodger killer hitting 40 bombs per year. Tough call.
