Hitting wise, Nomar is probably the best option other than Furcal. But he'll be atrocious defensively. It could get ugly out there, especially when Lowe pitches.

I'm excited to see what Jones and Nomar have to show. Nomar is scheduled to return either Friday or Saturday in San Fran. Jones is scheduled to return once baseball resumes after the break, however, he's played well and played comfortable in Vegas so there's a chance we could see him before then.
I'm also looking forward to seeing Penny & Schmidt.
If they come in and have a decent impact (for Jones & Penny I'm looking for more than decent) and Furcal can somehow get healthy enough by August, our competition should be limited to San Fran and Arizona. We can beat both if this team improves and plays the way it started out.
It is going to SERIOUSLY suck when Vin retires. I would rather have the Rick"The Grim Reaper" Monday or Ross Porter calling the games
I can't stand listening to Monday. The guy gives the score about as often as Pierre goes deep. I have to either check my phone or put the radio on XM to display the score.

Tony Jackson brought up the possiblity of Ned trading for some immediate SS help. There are a select number of SS out there that I'd be interested in. But I wouldn't want a stopgap for Furcal. I'd only support a trade for a bonafide player and I'm sure the trade would probably cost us Hu and other players.
But knowing Colletti, I'm sure we can go ahead and start welcoming Julio Lugo back.
Kent left the game with an issue with his hand or wrist.
Now Bills is in trouble in the bottom of the fifth with 2 out. He gave up a two-on, two-out double that resulted in two runs, and then he walked the next batter.
Just got out of it with a grounder to 2nd.
4-2 Doyerss.
