It's raining, thunder and lightning, at my house, but not at Dodger Stadium which is less than 20 minutes away. I'm watching the game on TV and not a lick of rain. So weird!

I was driving on the 10/110 towards Echo Park from the Westside to see Ratatat at the Echoplex, and we saw lightning in the direction we were driving. It looked ****ing nuts over downtown! It looked like it was in the Silverlake/Dodger Stadium area (we first saw the lightning going onto the 110 from the 10 West).
At this point they might as well just get swept. Hopefully that would piss McCourt off enough to can Ned over the break.
I think all getting swept will do will force a disastrous panic move by Ned in an attempt to save his job (I see this as almost inevitable). Then he might get fired after that.
Is it just me or does it seem like he's almost afraid to swing the bat? I know he had a 3-1 count, and I would have let the pitcher pitch to me, too. But he sure doesn't seem to want to swing at good pitches and he K's looking a lot.
