About This Page: This is a discussion on Baseball within the LetsGoKings.com forums, at Los Angeles Kings Hockey Fan Forum. Dodgers will coast the rest of the game. Hendrickson will come in and shut them down.
I predict 8-7 Marlins win.
Is it just me or does it seem like he's almost afraid to swing the bat? I know he had a 3-1 count, and I would have let the pitcher pitch to me, too. But he sure doesn't seem to want to swing at good pitches and he K's looking a lot.
The silver lining is he reported no problems with his arm. Not yet at least.

Bowa is and always will be an asshat. He's a ****ing third-base coach. Seriously, people.
And if I were Colletti, I'd have his ass for talking out of it. Not his place. I can see Torre speaking hypothetically like that, but not Bowa.
And every freakin' idea he pitched there is absolutely idiotic. We don't need THREE bats via trade. We need Kemp to pull his head out of his ass and start having better discipline at the plate and on the bases. We need Jones to come around (which I'm almost sure he will, sooner or later). We need our starting SS back.

It just baffles me that the coaching staff (or just Bowa) feel losing Pierre is in any way equatable with losing Furcal. I did this already, but here are the lines for Furcal, Pierre, and Kemp batting out of the number 1 spot:
Like TBrown, I'm really afraid of Ned doing something like this.
Quote:
SprungOnSports (Long Island): With Saito out for 6 weeks, do you think the Dodgers would trade a big prospect like Kemp or LaRoche for Marte/Wilson or Street/Crosby?
SportsNation Keith Law: (1:45 PM ET ) I doubt it - more likely they'll slide Broxton into the closer role.
Paddy (St. Louis, MO): Sorry about the DH stir, Keith. I like your chats, but not a fan of the DH obviously (my opinion is if you can only hit, then golf). I think one of the more exciting things about the game today is the amount of young players with so many tools. If you're GM of the Dodgers what do you do about Furcal's situation? One year deal with incentives? or gamble on Hu?
SportsNation Keith Law: (2:01 PM ET ) I'd gamble on Hu or DeJesus, who was pretty impressive on Sunday. DeJesus is Hu with a little more bat. Plus Hu has this recurring eye problem that is going to make any team reluctant to commit to him as the full-time SS.
