which is why I would take the character, professionalism and consistency of Hunter any day of the week against the fat, lazy and possible clubhouse cancer that Andruw Jones may be.
Besides, I'd rather pay $3mil for a shortstop that nuts up in the playoffs than $8mil for a shortstop that nuts up to get you to the playoffs only to suck dog balls once he gets there. The money saved can be used to shore up other parts of the lineup to ensure you make the postseason and give the guys who raise their game when it counts (Erstad, Eckstein, Glaus) a chance to make it happen.

LOL, you're right. No bias there whatsoever.

David Eckstein sucks in the playoffs just like he sucks in the regular season.

I'll tell you what OP, I'll give you the class, professionalism, hard work, and grit of Juan Pierre and you give us a guy who won't nut up and sucks dog balls in the playoffs, Vlad Guerrero.

Deal?
lol...I think we already clashed on the Vlad MVP thing. We got stuck on the value of protection in the lineup if I remember correctly. We'll just have to agree to disagree.
David Eckstein, career in the playoffs, .278/.333/.335
He had three good games during the entire playoffs. He was dog **** awful like usual in the NLDS, NLCS, and the first two games of the World Series.
Even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while.

Yes, and as soon as I asked you "Why can Vlad hit in the regular season with that lineup and not hit in the playoffs?" you seemed to disappear.
Yeah, no bias whatsoever.
