About This Page: This is a discussion on NHL Talk within the LetsGoKings.com forums, at Los Angeles Kings Hockey Fan Forum. Have you guys every noticed that it's like a "white out" up in San Jose? The picture is extremely bright.
At least you get to see the game on TV. Had the Kings made the playoffs and for some reason FSN didn't show the game we all would be assed out... unless they didn't blackout VS.
I don't follow the Ducks as much, but do they get to see all regular season games on TV?
I remembered how the Kings were on KCAL9 at one point, and even the Ducks too.
I remember back in 91-92 as a tech student running some theatre shows backstage, while taking a break in between long cues, I'd sneak into the scene shop, set up my b/w tv and strain the antennae for the Kings games on what I think was KTLA.
almost missed out on one cue. good times.

Yeah well at least the ducks organization has the smarts to grab an agreement with someone to show their team's games that aren't on FSN... I just kinda defended the ducks org... Hmm.. and I didn't start wearing pink and listening to barbara streisand... I'm scared!
^^^^^^ exactly.
The Ducks are showing the Kings what they should do when they are not on FSN. That is really, really sad.
Now I'm even more depressed about no Kings playoff hockey.

Better not put away that tissue box DRD. I refuse to spend a ridiculous amount of money on an LCD or Plasma TV for a few more pixels. I agree that the picture clarity is much better than a standard TV, but you are not gaining much IMO by having one of the said overpriced TV's that are eventually going to be the norm. Until then, our TV's work just fine, and maybe, just maybe by the time I am finally forced to purchase an LCD or Plasma, the price will be comparable to a standard tube TV.
