It makes me laugh when I see george acting like a tough guy. His fights should be on comedy central. I'm still waiting for him to win a fight (wrestling someone down to the ice doesn't count). Luckily he got some lessons from marty or else that Ivy league diploma would be coming in handy right now.
I like Thornton good team guy and a good fighter but hes the only one.. when Ivanans is hurt..
Who going to step there game up?
kings are the softest team in the league, and the toughest (although dirty) team is down the road, im proud to say im one of the biggest kings fans there is, but this is one of the softest nhl teams ive ever seen...disheartening at times like when your goalie gets smothered and hurt like that, and kopitar gets ran into the boards with no consequences.
I still chuckle when I remember him trying to hit Getzlaf near the benches in a Duck Roast game in the 05-06 season twice in a span of 5 seconds, and missing both times.
Yes but he fills that badly needed "gimmick" role. Or at least his 'stache does.
I completely agree. He doesnt have to skate well, score or fight well, as long as hes just around. I think deep down he knows his role and totally embraces it, too.

The Ducks showed that clip in their pre-game highlight reel every game until Parros joined them.
My dad would CONSTANTLY give me **** for it when I'd go to games with him.
