Circumvention of the salary cap is now complete. You may now witness the power of this fully operational battle station.
(I only say this because I'm jealous that they had enough talent to lose those two guys for this much of the year and still be a strong favorite to repeat.)

I shoulda bet on them this year again pre-Nieds, when the odds were better. Oh, well...

I still remember the rampant comments about Selanne being "done" when he was a UFA and the Kings had a shot at landing him.
That team is a ****ing powerhouse.
There's a possibility now of Anaheim having TWO CUPS while the Kings have one Stanley Cup playoff win in their 40 year history.

Nice coup for the Ducks. Selanne and McDonald had great chemistry. I don't think Teemu will have a problem fitting in with anybody but it'll be interesting to see who he plays with.
Ducks have a great chance to repeat, but I don't it is automatic that he scores at the same clip as last year. Selanne was clearly the anchor of that line, but McDonald was a very good playmaker for him. Doug Weight though has clearly slowed down.
