I care about the future of this franchise more than anything. Something you obviously could care less about. I guess you don't understand how much dropping 5 spots can hurt our chances of getting a strong prospect or trading up in the draft.

Well, what a game. Congrats to the Stars and good luck to them and Matty. There was nothing we could have changed personally in the outcome of that game to get ourselves a better pick. It's time to live with the 27th or 28th pick.

Yawn. The Dallas pick will just be wasted on another career minor-leaguer anyway. Only one thing really matters here: The Ducks aren't going to win the Cup, and neither are the Sharks. I hope Dallas goes all the way, because I always cheer for the underdog when my favorite team is out of it.

Where does all the Sharks hate come from around here? Maybe I'm just different because all my hate is directed towards the Ducks. Sure the Sharks are in California, but they're NorCal and I have nothing against them. I don't like the Red Wings, but I have a lot of respect for them for how deep they draft and turn those players into great players.
