San Jose is worse than I thought. I thought for sure they'd handle Calgary and yes Bandit...if they lose Game 1 at home I can damn near guarantee you that they will not win this series.
the beautiful part of tonights game is that in their first playoff game the Sharks showed everybody why they have sucked in the playoffs for so long. Nabakov chokes early on, Thornton fails on a clear cut breakaway, McLaren takes stupid penalties, Marleu and Cheechoo are invisible, Grier bitches more than Jesse Jackson on his period and Ron Wilson is just standing there wondering what the **** is going on.
Yeah.....and a majority of you lameOs thought that these pussies would go all the way.
I hate to give credit to Keenan but he managed his bench well and Wilson was never sure who was going to be on the ice for the Flames. Having the last change didn't help the Sharks tonight.
I also hate giving credit to referees but I thought they did a great job tonight of letting the guys play. It was a little rough at times, but by not trying to steal the show with call after call, we got to see an exciting, physical hockey game.
Plus, the Flames players showed up tonight. I guess the mohawks worked!
