Veteran leadership? Apparently many GM's around the league (*cough Lombardi *cough) are still under the guise that a team of young players need someone old, slow and way OVERPAID to tell them how great it used to be in the old days...

Sure, but 26 games ago they had to have this guy on their team, and now they want to give him away in a crackerjack box?
Actually, I bet he clears and then someone snags him on re-entry.
I don't think that they would put Recchi, who is old and losing steam when it comes to scoring points, but has been a professional through this if they didn't think that there was definitely a team that would pick him up.
