Looking from Oilers perspective they've added Brule and Visnovsky for a bunch of crap.

they just got smaller again, and Brule is more of a dangerous wrecking ball cum disasterous injury than Stoll was.

I wonder if Lowe will ever address defense on his team... or maybe that's just too boring for him.

I look forward to seeing Sully on the PK against Edmonton. God knows how many SHG he can get.

Its all about clearing a little cap room after getting Lubo. Pitkanen has only hours remaining before moving to Carolina for Erik Cole. I wonder if Brule might be packaged along with Pitkanen?

I think the Oilers like their defense. They resigned Gilbert and Grebeshkov, they acquired Souray last year and Lubo this year. They think Smid has a future and Pitkanen rounds out the top six at least until he is moved later today.

Remember when Gilbert Brule was the future of the Columbus Blue Jackets.

I do.

Probably the most recent case of the worst case scenario of rushing a prospect.

Nope, but that's part of the appeal of drafting him right? If they had let him stay in juniors and develop his body a bit he probably wouldn't have kept breaking ribs every time he finished a check!
