About This Page: This is a discussion on NHL Talk within the LetsGoKings.com forums, at Los Angeles Kings Hockey Fan Forum. get a point tonight for just showing up. Couldn't even get one past Manny in the SO. Travesty.
Not sure I like the one point for playing rule. Kinda limp wristed liberal self esteem BS if you ask me. Well, you lost...but at least you played... heres a point.
With that said, The Ducks play tomorrow against The Flyers who got pounded by the Rags yesterday so they'll be far from a pushover. As much as I think OP wants to pass this off as nothing, The Ducks on a potential 6-game losing streak with more than half of the roadie still to go is something that ought to strike fear into the little black hearts of every Duck fan.

Are you just now thinking this way because the Quack just got a point out of it?
Do you realize that OTs are probably more open offensively with the way it is set up?
If the losing team got zero points for losing in OT, both teams would be more likely to play defensively.

It does suck but the Ducks played without Schnieder / Pahlsson and Selanne. Despite that they dominated a road game tonight agaisnt a team that fed them their lunch last time they were in St. Louis. The Ducks will make their move as soon as the three aforementioned players are back in the lineup.
when Selanne decides to suit up the Ducks will rocket up in the standings
Maybe, we'll see soon enough.
He's turning 38 in June, may need some time to shake off the rust and get up to speed, and he won't be playing with his boyfriend Andy who's playing with his ex-boyfriend Paul.
I don't know if the same sparks are going to fly playing with Weight.
