How very Pronger-esque of you not to fight fair.

I never once thought that it would go past 10 games. The 20-30 games that people here were envisioning...I just knew it wouldn't happen.
Of course the people around here are dreaming. That's nothing new (see all the posts talking about Deano acquiring 2 picks in the top five by moving Cammi). However, this time, it's much to the detriment of the NHL's already shaky credibility that they're dreaming.

If you guys want me to fess up to something then fine. When I heard Hayward's take I cringed. I won't say what it was but it was really really bad. The cringe factor was because I always felt that you guys exaggerated him around here. I have always thought that he was a decent albeit a bit of a homer like everyone else. Unfortunately, he damn near justified all of it in one single statement.
Beginning to feel a little embarrassed being a Duck's follower? I was bound to happen eventually, but I thought that would have happened years ago. Plus, they have bigger skeletons in their closet. Picture Joshua Jackson chanting "Quack, quack, quack..."
So nobody else on this board watched Milbury's comments on the NBC game of the week? This is a hockey board, right? He went off on Pronger, saying it was a deliberate intent to injure the guy and the punishment was a joke.He said 5-8 years in prison would be more appropriate.Of course he was being a little tongue in cheek with that comment, but he was trying to emphasize just how weak he thought the punishment was.

sometimes you just pretend stuff didn't happen. Much like a picure of Patrick Roy winking, Sean O'Donnell jumping Geoff Courtnall or the shame of seeing Luc Robitaille lift the Cup...in a Red Wings jersey.

99% of the people here are on record as saying that Milbury is a douche and a total **** up. To get all worked up and giddy about what he said this morning falls in line with what they have already been saying would only make themselves look bad.
Deep down they'd feel a hell of a lot better had Pierre McGuire said what Milbury said and vice versa.

Damn you... It sucks that for every 'Miracle in Manchester', there's a ton of memories like these, and if your team didn't lift the cup last year, I'd have a snappy comeback... I swear.

Quoting Mike Milbury is like quoting Pauly Shore. It really doesn't matter what either thinks or says.
