No, my argument is that asking people not to practice freedom of expression while at the same time asking them to believe that they have it is hypocritical and thus logically incoherent.
I'm also arguing that getting your panties in a bunch over someone burning a flag, or failing to stand for the national anthem, or feeling that the national anthem doesn't have to be played at every single sporting event makes you an easily offended pu$, who needs to get out more and find other things to worry about besides having your politically correct world view fulfilled at every moment of your life.
The 1st Ammendment allows KKK members to attempt to breed a world of hate. Such is their right, but they are a-holes for doing so.
BTW, 2 funny things:
You calling me PC, considering how often I'm warned I need to be more so...
and the fact that you're the one slinging insults and swearing (If you're gonna call me something, be a man and write it out) and I'm the one with his "panites in a bunch."
Yeah... that makes sense.

youre lack of a logical response, and your continued attempts to make peoples arguments into something they are not is amazing.
yet another analogy that rings false. the kkk arent a-holes for practicing their right to free speech. just as flag burners (why we are talking about this in this thread still doesnt make sense to me) arent idiots for practicing their right to free expression. the kkk are a-holes because they are racist white supremicists who practice an ideology of hate that dehumanizes anyone who doesnt look and act like them...hmmmmm....nevermind.
following your logic, anyone who thinks differently than you and expresses their opinion in word or deed is an a-hole, d-bag, or an idiot.
two-face is teh r0xx0rz... i wouldn't make such a comparison, doc...

I'm just sayin....
Crazy patriotic to the point of not being able to have a nuanced conversation is just the opposite side of the Crazy paranoid about the government to the point of not being able to have a nuanced conversation coin.

oh i saw what you were sayin'...
I'M just sayin' two-face's level of dual crazy has a certain air of je ne sais quoi to it. i mean, dude's a snappy dresser. not to mention if you were to really go for what the character stands for, which one is good and which one is evil?
*btw, i cannot wait to see two-face in the dark knight...

who is name calling now?
Perhaps you don't understand the idea of a principle, or countering an argument. If an argument is made about a principle, and that principle is contradicted with a better argument, then all things which follow that principle should, logically, be considered wrong.
So where we disagree here is whether or not flag-burners are a-holes. You think they're not, I think they are, and neither will convince the other otherwise.
The point of my argument was that just because you have the right to free speech, doesn't mean you're not an a-hole when you exercise it.
I can go around flipping off everyone to express myself or slinging swearwords at everyone who passes by. Doing so, while protected by the First Ammendment, makes me an a-hole.
I hope that was simple enough for you.
I'm not saying, by any means, nor did I insinuate that anyone who disagrees with me on anything is an a-hole. I simply stated that flag-burning is an idiotic thing to do. That's one act. If you can't make the distinction between one act, and every action I disagree with, you're hopeless.
If you don't see the irony and idiocy of burning a symbol of your free speech to protest something, then I'm not going to bother trying to explain it again. You will just go through life without that knowledge.
As for flag-burners not necessarily being a-holes by character, and to continue with the Batman theme, I will offer this:
It's not who I am inside, but what I do that defines me.
