About This Page: This is a discussion on NHL Talk within the LetsGoKings.com forums, at Los Angeles Kings Hockey Fan Forum. Cool video made by a fan in regards to the rivalry:

As for the series itself,
As for the series itself, I actually give the Bruins a punchers chance, provided they can...
1. Stay out of the penalty box.
2. Thomas plays better than Price (...not a stretch, IMO)
3. Bergeron's expected return provides a spark.

Steve Begin apparently recently broke a bone in Marc Savard's back, but he's playing.
Fixed your post.
That game was frustrating. Bruins just didn't show up at all. We all knew that the Canadiens had more speed and more skill from their top two lines, but last night, they were also more physical, and got goals from guys like Smolinski and Kostopoulos.
That can't happen if the Bruins are going to be remotely competitive.
phew! habs won in OT. imagine if the B's actually managed to win against Montreal. all hell would break loose. fortunately they didnt and order has been restored in the universe.
Yeah, can someone explain this one? How do you have as a healthy scratch one of your best offensive players and supposedly one of the players you're building around. Maybe you could say he was playing poorly or that his coach wanted to teach him a lesson. But he couldn't have been playing that poorly. And the playoffs is no time to be teaching a lesson.
BTW, that was a great game today. Boston did a good job in coming back in the 3rd period. And that was a great shot by Kovalev to win it in OT.
Damn a ton of Habs' fans traveled to Bean town for the game, great atmosphere. I would like to think that us Kings fans would invade our local rivals arenas in the playoffs like that (if the Kings ever make it back to the playoffs of course)
