About This Page: This is a discussion on NHL Talk within the LetsGoKings.com forums, at Los Angeles Kings Hockey Fan Forum. Forsberg just got destroyed by... Pavol Demitra?
I didn't like the call on Johnsson. That Av was already going to the ice and Johnsson was just reaching for his stick. Koivu has been a beast so far though. I never really watch Wild games, is he usually this good?

What a brutal goal to allow... ugh. Minnesota is doing all it can though to send this to OT.

Well there ya go. People should pay me to jinx games.

Because I was hanging out on the Food and Beer forum for the last 15 minutes, I didn't see how the Wild won this game, or even what the final score was. All I know is that I'm glad they did.

I didn't like the call on Johnsson either, I think it was bogus and the ref had his head up his wahoo hoo but I'm glad it didn't get to the Wild and they were able to get pat it. One of things that bug me about them is they were an emotional team who would let themselves get 'down' if they were in a bind. It looks like they didn't do that tonight, which is awesome.
Koivu has been valuable all season. He plays a very solid, well-rounded game and is considered a go-to guy. He's not flashy so you won't see him dangling as much as PMB but he's solid, sturdy and it's like he's always in the right place at the right time. He's a great playmaker, can think on his feet. He's not physical so you won't see him putting hits down everywhere but he'll do it if necessary. Love the guy.
