Think about this----they got rid of Brad Richards (and I know he is overpaid too) for Malone and Roberts?!?!? Wow--and nothing on defense to help Dan Boyle......I thought the whole reason for dumping Richards was to free $$$ to get solid defensemen??

the was under the old ownership(the owner was cheap)

Ummmm......wow, this is exactly why the NHL will have another lockout once the current collective bargaining agreement expires. New owners who are going to try and make a mark by pricing the league out of the market!!!!
