About This Page: This is a discussion on NHL Talk within the LetsGoKings.com forums, at Los Angeles Kings Hockey Fan Forum. Here it from the horse's mouth.
A cute horse nonetheless.
I especially love this quote, "In LA, nobody loves hockey."
How's THAT for next year's slogan?
Hi Lubomir. It sounds like you've grown very fond of LA, you've played your whole career there. How difficult is this day for you right now?

Yeah, uh, it's tough because I play seven seasons there and it my first NHL team, I come in there like 24 years old and I play just for LA, and it's very tough because Edmonton is so different city like LA, LA's a sunshine, best weather and the Oilers have vinter city, and you know, just different is hockey, because LA nobody loves hockey, just love the movie star and the basketbahl, and Edmonton is so different, everybody love just hockey and I focusing on just for hockey . . .
How many times was Staples FULL last season? I'm with Lubo on that one.
How good was the on ice product last year or the year before? How many games did the Kings win last year or the year before?
It doesn't matter what organization a player is with. If the on ice product is poor the attendance will be poor. When(if) the Kings do get a consistent winner then you will find out how hard it is to get tickets for the game.

Absolutely. He was here when the Kings were in the playoffs. What were the stands like then in Staples? They were nuts and people were loving it and he got to see all of that up front. Now the Kings have one of the worst records in the league and he expects it to be the same? Do the last place teams in the NBA and MLB sell their buildings out night in and night out? Hell no. The casual fan wants a winning product. It's hard to fill an arena/stadium with diehards that will be there no matter what, that's just the way it is. His only options for a city that loves their team/sport is to either play in Canada, play football in the US, or play soccer in Europe.
