Lidstrom, Osgood, and Stanley on The Tonight Show

With Nicklas Lidstrom and Chris Osgood showing off the Cup tonight on Leno, I was able to snap a couple of pics with them and talk a bit.


The Cup Master that goes everywhere with Stanley, and the HL rep with him, didn't hear about Crawford until I told them after Leno had taped. (That's how busy these folks get.)

When I told Osgood about Crawford being fired, he said "good. He was the problem. When I was in net, I could hear him yelling from the bench all game. That can really divide a team."


Anyway, cool guys for taking the time.

ADD: Osgood also had some really (unprovoked) nice things to say about Bernier. He said he's going to be Brodeur good. For what it's worth.

Oh, and Lidstrom and Osgood sing. No. Kidding.

They where on for like (what seemed to be) 2 mins. at the beginning of the show and then started to sing a song (like Justin Timberlake's Sexy back) We got Stanley Back..

It was a waist of an hour of Tivo

I neglected to mention the first thing Osgood said after I mentioned that Kings' fans were speculating Crow's replacement. "Lewis?" I asked back "what about Tortorella?" Without hesitation, Ozzie said "oh, no. You don't want Tortorella."
