Craig Leipold, who recently sold his stake in the Nashville Predators, buys control of the Minnesota Wild.
WTF?
You bail out of one unprofitable franchise, create a circus when you try to sell it to a Canadian billionaire, and are then allowed to buy another profitable club?
Whatever. They were selling and he was buying. Yea, it's kinda lame to bail out on his former team because he couldn't make it work there, but it was a losing proposition no matter how you slice it. That place ain't big enough for Hockey and Honky Tonk.
