Also if he was such a great attorney he wouldnt base his counterargument by saying "oh your a law student what do you know." Instead he would argue against the statements I made and explain how those statements are flawed. As a 2nd year law student I have argued entire appellate court cases by my self against real lawyers in a 9th Circuit court and smoked them. Just because someone has years of experience doesnt mean they know everything.
i never said i was a great attorney. my superiority to you has nothing to do with my legal career.
nor did i say that you don't know anything because you're just a law student. i implied that you don't know nearly as much as you think you do. and if you were wise, you would acknowledge that you don't know as much about practicing law as somebody with several years' legal practice behind them.
and, in fact, i didn't argue anything. i mostly just made fun of you. that's not an argument. and neither are your sarcastic ad hominem attacks. a good lawyer would know that.
what i did point out was that your talking smack on a website because you can hide behind anonymity, as you claim, is a sign of poor character. so you're wrong on that score, as well.
i don't need to prove myself to you, but if you'd like, i can go through each of your posts and point out your errors, legal, spelling, grammatical, and otherwise. would you like that?

What does posting stuff on a hockey message board have anything to do with character. I am on this page to have fun and mess around. The only reason i wouldnt say this to a senior attorney in real life is not that I dont believe in what I am saying but because it could impact my career. That senior attorney might hire me for a job someday or know important people. If I say anything that he disapproved of (despite the fact that i might be correct), it could make my job as an attorney difficult.
And what the heck do my comments have to do with britiney spears?
lolz... mr. box esq took a peak at these posts last night and told me he could tell who the law students are from the professionals just based on the wording used by the respective posters. heh.
that is all.

if you will only say things because you know that you're anonymous, you will not stand behind your statements publicly. and therefore lack integrity.
you're awfully invested in this conversation.
nothing, except the britney kid also harps like a whiny bitch.
if you'd like to keep going, i can continue to embarrass you with logic, or you can just move on.
Invested in this conversation? lol Buddy you havent even begun to see me "invested in a conversation". I am just writin this stuff of the top of my head and having fun.
As far as you embarrasing me, so far I am not embarrassed because I have nothing to be embarrased about. You are just some unknown person typing an electronic message on the internet. I am not exactly blushing red here. If you want you can continue writing your arguments but you are not exactly Socrates. Dont think so highly of yourself.
As far as integrity, I dont see internet conversations has anything real, this is just bull **** for fun. If I was speaking to you in person and actually knew you, than it would be a different story. Fo all you know, I could be saying the exact opposite of what you are saying just for the hell of it. Why are you assuming I actually believe in what i am saying? Your the dumbass for continuing to argue with me despite being already frustrated and supposedly knowing better.
heh... we already knew who the judge was since he's mentioned it in past threads. there isn't as much of a difference between the way attorneys and judges speak as there is with how green students are.
it reminds me of the time i watched some of his classmates in a moot court. the dramatic intonation they used while presenting their case along with it being an l.a. school brought to mind your l.a. law and boston legal reference . ugh.
as for the cocks... ha... i HAD to put that in there after the brouhaha over DRD's cat fight pics...
I am not embarrassed because I have nothing to be embarrased about.

well, if you're not embarrassed and you wouldn't say to my face what you're saying online, i guess you're right.
ok. fair enough. you win.
hey, where can i find that 9th circuit case where you smoked the more experienced lawyers? i'd really like to read it.

Ones reputation in law is the most important thing. Im not going to give you the case so that you will know my name based on the implications of this conversation.
BTW, what type of law do you practice? Just curious

i don't practice anymore, but i'm still licensed. i practiced first amendment, civil rights, and labor/employment. plaintiff-side civil litigation.
and you? what do you want to practice? where do you go to school?
reputation is important. it's based on integrity, professionalism and skill. lose any of those, and you're cooked.
seriously, where can i find your 9th circuit case? i'm very curious.
