There is some debate on another forum discussing whether this is a legit dirty hit or Downie actually takes a dive and fakes an injury to draw a call. The debate is largely between pen and flyer fans so thought it would be interesting to post here and get opinions from people who arent emotionally attached to either of the teams involved.

Tough call. It looks to me like Downy projects himself into the boards. But Laraque is a strong fella.

I tend to agree with ya, at regular speed it looks like a bad hit but when you see it a couple of times in slow mo it does look like there is some self propulsion on Downeys part.
