Report: Jagr receives offer to play in Russia
I will tell you one thing and you better believe it. Jagr is in Europe bigger name than Crosby. So this offer doesn't seem so outrageous. Jagr will be franchise player of the league, just like Crosby in NHL.

But Jagr's agent Pat Brisson told TSN that his client's first priority is to play in the NHL.
Brisson added that hopefully over the next several days Jagr will be able to work something out with the New York Rangers. However, if a deal is not in place by that point, his client will look at all of his NHL options.
Jagr added, if the NHL interest isn't there, then at some point he will consider all of his European offers.
Looks like his first priority is stay in the NHL.

jagr wants to play in the NHL for atleast 2 more years, it's a different atmosphere and he enjoys it here, just like malkin.

That's a lot of money, but then again you have to overpay to get guys to go to a crappy country like Russia. Jagr ain't Russian so that ain't home for him. If a Czech team offered him that I think he'd take it but if he's going to live in a foreign land why not live in the best country on earth and in arguably the best city in that country? Jagr will stay in New York for another year or two, then go to Europe.
